Hanover Meet
Ashland defeated Hanover by a score of 1105-1031. Ashland won the novice, varsity, advance relay, and senior varsity relay divisions. Hanover won the advanced, junior varsity, and senior varsity divisions. It is fair to note that the margin of victory in the novice division was greater than the overall margin of victory, suggesting that Ashland outnumbered Hanover as much as they outswam them.
Every winning time was a pool record, but for the sake of sanity, I’m going to wait until after all 3 home meets and publish one set of records. All Ashland swimmers who hold records at that point will be recognized.
Christine Datovech broke team records in 13/14 girls’ 50 breast and 100 fly.
Mark Dinger was a new Champs qualifier.
Quadruple winners were Paul Datovech, Ronny Maier, and Ethan Spencer.
Triple winners were: Caden Arnold, Kate Balut, Christine Datovech, Duke Flanagan, Larson Flanagan, Davis Luck, Kayla Maxey, Samuel Nance, Emmeline Roberts, Samantha Senfield, Thomas Senfield, Lucy Smith, and Carolyn Wright.
